2010 Homestay Hosts for 70.3 Professional Triathletes Needed! Thanks to all that provided homestays to the visiting pro triathletes for the 2009 event! They were all very grateful! If you are interested in hosting a pro triathlete for a homestay for next year's event contact Tim Hudson at TimBHudson@aol.com
What's a homestay, you may ask? It's a gracious host with a spare bedroom or sleeping area willing to open their home for a few days to a visiting pro triathlete from outside of the area. Believe it or not, many professional triathletes prefer staying in a real homeand are appreciative in the household of another triathlete and are usually really sick of seeing the same hotel rooms around the world. If interested e-mail Tim Hudson and let him know:
What the space available is
How far away it is from Clearwater Beach
Any pets (cats/dogs or allergy concerns)
When you can have that space available / How long
If you can't host someone in your home but have the time, please do consider taking a morning off to drop off or pick-up pro triathletes from the airport.
As the largest local triathlon club for this event, it's important we all pitch in to show support for this amazing event!
