Back to the beach!!!
Daylight Savings Time moves up three weeks in the Spring and one weeks back in the fall and so do we. Starting earlier, on March 14, 2007, we Mad Dogs will be at Pass-a-grille beach swimming, running and howling. Come on out and join the fun. Come to swim, come to run or do both! St. Pete Tri Kids !
St Pete. Tri-Kids is a team focusing on fun and fitness.
Ages 7-11 years
Kids will train for Meek and Mighty, Madera Beach Mini, local 5k runs and other triathlon events around the area. They will also experience volunteering at triathlon events.
Training: March through September
Tuesday 4:30 to 5:30pm Northshore/Crescent Lake- running fitness and core strengthening games.
Saturday 9:00 am Fort Desoto (Will change to a week night following Springbreak)-biking/running and practicing Tri specific skills. Swimming in Lagoon once water warms up.
Cost-$40-per month

Membership Renewals!!!
The membership renewal fees was misprinted in the latest edition of The Finish Line. The rates are as follows: $25 for Single and $30 for Family for a year. Please note that your membership is due on your month anniversary of joining the club. This can be found on your mailing label located on your copy of The Finish Line. |

St. Pete Mad Dogs 2007 Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 Lottery Drawing and Party- March 31st, 2007 !
The St. Pete Mad Dogs Triathlon Club has been awarded 25 slots to the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 on November 10, 2007, in Clearwater, Florida.
If you were there in 2006 than you know what an exciting and thrilling event this was as the top professional and amateur triathletes came from around the world to Clearwater to compete in this awesome championship race.
On March 31st , 2007 we'll be having the lottery selection party and viewing the world premiere of the 2006 Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 on NBC at Mugs N’ Jugs Restaurant and Sports Bar in Clearwater, Florida ( 1250 S. Missouri Avenue, Clearwater). There will be some great giveaways from Ironman, too!
Also, there will be one additional slot that will be auctioned for charity with proceeds to go to the Challenged Athletes Foundation- Florida (www.challengedathletes.org ). This a wonderful organization, so you will be supporting a great cause in addition to being able to have a once in a lifetime opportunity to race in the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 .
All current active members are eligible for the lottery and auction. So get ready and be there on March 31st!
